What to Know:
Distance: 2-3 miles
Level: Beginner/intermediate
What to bring: Water and good hiking boots (or barefoot shoes if you’re crazy like me!)
Location: California Woods Nature Preserve— Beware that road is narrow when entering the park. Drive slow and watch for other cars/people.
Recommendation: Eat a little snack or a hardy meal beforehand. Walking really helps digestion and eating beforehand will help with maintaining consistent energy.
