Healing Ceremonies
There are moments in a woman’s life where she longs to be held…
Held after she has opened.
Held after something has ended.
Held when she is grieving what was, releasing what can no longer be, or stepping into a version of herself she has never known before.
Our modern culture often asks women to move quickly through these thresholds. We are expected to recover, carry on, be strong, and begin again—sometimes without ever having a moment to acknowledge what has changed.
Ceremony gives us permission to pause.
To honor the woman who was.
To hold space for what has been lost.
To gather the pieces of what has been scattered.
And to welcome the woman who is emerging.
Whether you are moving through motherhood, loss, change, or simply a season of becoming, you don’t have to walk through it alone.

Closing of the Bones is a beautiful, nurturing ritual for times when life invites us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and honor a transition.
Traditionally offered after birth, it can also be meaningful during menopause, grief, divorce, recovery, moving, career changes, or any season when you’re ready to let go of what’s been and welcome what’s next.
We begin with a gentle conversation about where you are and what you’d like to honor, release, or make space for. From there, warm oils, soothing bodywork, breath, rhythmic touch, and rebozo wrapping create a deeply supportive feeling of being held.
Each experience is unique and shaped around you. There may be song, herbs, prayer, reflection, laughter, tears—or simply quiet. There is no right way to do it.
More than anything, this is an invitation to pause, breathe, and come home to yourself.
My hope is that you leave feeling grounded, cared for, and a little more at home in your body as you step into whatever comes next.
Your comfort and safety always come first. We’ll talk through your needs, boundaries, and anything that would help you feel supported, and the experience can be adapted to meet you exactly where you are.
A Little About Its Roots
Closing of the Bones draws inspiration from traditional postpartum and transition rituals found across cultures, including Indigenous and Mexican traditions, as well as Russian and Arabian practices of wrapping, massage, and ceremonial care. At its heart, it is a ceremony of being held, honored, and supported through change—a ritual for women in every season of life.

Grief deserves a place to be felt, honored, and witnessed. Whether you’re grieving an early pregnancy, the loss of a parent, a relationship, or something deeply meaningful to you, a ceremony can offer a gentle way to acknowledge what has been lost and create space for healing.
Together, we’ll create a ceremony that feels right for you. This might include a flower mandala or memorial using meaningful objects and photographs, creating a dreamcatcher, paper craft, or simply creating a quiet space to be sung over with a medicine drum. Your ceremony can take place in the comfort of your home or somewhere in nature that feels meaningful to you.
There is no right way to grieve. My role is to listen, hold space, and help you create a meaningful ritual to honor your loss and the love that remains.
A gentle note: These are personal and spiritual ceremonies, not religious or funeral services. I am not an ordained minister or funeral director, and my role is simply to offer compassionate space for remembrance, reflection, and connection.
Below are photos & testimonials from ceremonies I’ve had the honor of facilitating.
Each one has its own story — some quiet and reflective, others bright with laughter. All hold tenderness, meaning, and transformation.
These images capture the magic that unfolds when women gather to heal.

Come Be Held…
If something in you is whispering that it’s time to pause, to honor what has been, or to make space for what is becoming, I invite you to reach out.
Together, we’ll create a sacred space to slow down, be witnessed, and gently return to yourself.
Disclaimer - "Closing of the Bones" & "Grief & Loss Ceremonies" are nurturing, ceremonial practices rather than medical treatment or licensed massage therapy. It’s an opportunity to slow down, receive caring touch, and be supported through a transition—not to diagnose, treat, or “fix” anything. Your body knows what it needs, and I’ll always do my best to honor your comfort & boundaries.
