I always recommend having a bite to eat before a hike. Walking is a great way to help digest a meal and eating beforehand will provide you with plenty of energy to sustain you through a hike. Also, be sure to bring water and some electrolytes to stay hydrated.
We’ll hike for roughly one miles (or less) and then all are welcome to bring your own coffee—or whatever your hot drink of preference is—for a little extra social time afterward.
We will be starting behind the nature center. Be sure to wear some boots (or other appropriate footwear) for hiking on a dirt trail. The weather is dropping and we’ve had more rain recently so it could be cold and muddy in some areas. Excited to see you there! This activity will be a great means of energizing you for the rest of your week.
